Dance
Formed in September 2011 by Helen, we offer a range of children’s dance classes to boys and girls aged 3 years and above. Our classes include ballet, modern, jazz, and tap, which follow the ISTD and RAD syllabi.

Our Philosophy
The needs of each individual child are our primary focus, and we aim to not only teach children to dance but to instill lessons that will last a lifetime. Self-confidence, self-discipline and the joy of developing a wonderful skill.
Dance with us
Our Classes
Ballet
Our ballet classes cover not only Classical Ballet, but also incorporate national dances from various European countries, offering the dancer an engaging and well-rounded education. We follow the world-renowned Royal Academy Of Dancing (RAD) syllabus and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) syllabus providing the opportunity to study different styles of music, costume and history.
Modern and Jazz
Our dance academy’s Modern and Jazz dance classes are offered through the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD). This international dance society is very progressive and is constantly evolving to remain current, allowing our students to learn a variety of skills and techniques to broaden their dance repertoire.
Tap
At Espira Dance, we offer tap lessons that incorporate a combination of Rhythm Tap, as well as the exciting new ISTD syllabus.

Exams and performances
As part of the dance academy experience, regular examinations and performances will be on offer to students, as well as other enriching activities such as theatre/cinema trips and workshops. Easter and Summer Schools will also form part of our dance academy calendar.

Whether your child is looking to start a new hobby, develop an existing skill, or simply boost their confidence, at our dance school, we pride ourselves on our caring, family atmosphere, allowing your child to become part of our community of dancers. If dance is a once-a-week hobby for your child or if they wish to take multiple classes a week and focus towards taking exams or even thinking of a future career in dance, our school will cater for you.
